The weekend’s Premier League action is set to get underway imminently as Bournemouth play host to Tottenham at the Vitality Stadium.
The two sides have had positive starts to their respective campaigns with the Cherries comfortably in midtable and Spurs already looking like genuine title challengers being, as they are, the only unbeaten side left in the division.
The south coast club have had time to prepare for this one all week after beating Hull 6-1 last time out but Spurs had to navigate a tie against Bayer Leverkusen in the week as part of their Champions League campaign.
That game finished 0-0, somehow, after both teams had good chances, with Spurs seeing Vincent Janssen hit the bar and having a goal chalked off for offside and it seems as though that failure to score has cost him his position up front for the Lilywhites.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has instead decided to play Heung-min Son through the middle for this clash and that big call has certainly made the Spurs fans on Twitter happy. Here’s some of the best of the reactions…
