Clubs could be priced out of a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen this summer, as reported by The Guardian.

The paper say that Spurs' valuation of the midfielder stands at £130m, despite the player having less than a year left on his contract.

The report states the player is now "in limbo", with just a handful of clubs able to pay a huge fee for a player who will soon be available on a free transfer and none of them showing much interest in an expensive deal.

Before Tanguy Ndombele, Spurs fans haven't been able to vlog about a transfer since January 2018! Judging by the video below, it's been worth the wait...

With time running out before the end of the transfer window, the Danish international could well end up staying at the club for the 2019/20 season.

Eriksen has been a top performer at Spurs for a number of seasons now, making 277 appearances in total for the club.

Last season he scored ten goals and assisted 17 times, proving to be as reliable as ever and helping his side reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Despite his obvious importance, some Spurs fans feel receiving a fee for him is a better option than losing him for nothing next summer, while others are hoping to hold on to him for as long as possible.

These supporters have taken to Twitter over the last 48 hours to share their thoughts on The Guardian's report...
