Ever since his arrival from Fulham in August 2019, Ryan Sessegnon has been a bit-part player for Tottenham Hotspur, showing nothing more than fleeting glimpses of his talent.

The 19-year-old has played a total of 11 games for the north London outfit and has even managed to tally one goal and one assist in the process.

No clues whatsoever: Which seasons do these iconic Spurs images belong to?

His lack of involvement has often been due to injuries, but now he is fit and ready to play under Jose Mourinho.

Sessegnon seems eager to succeed if his latest snap from the gym is anything to go by.

Following Spurs' midweek defeat against RB Leipzig, the teenager was in the gym and he proved as much by posting an image onto his Instagram story.

Naturally, this got many fans talking on Twitter.

Some of them were absolutely loving his mentality and they praised him for working hard to earn his spot.

Many fans seem to think he's already good enough to slot right into the team and replace some of the other stars who are currently getting the nod in front of the youngster.

They were urging the club to pull the trigger and select him more often...

But of course, not everyone saw anything too special in the fact he went to the gym after the game, regardless of whether he's being picked or not.

After all, this is what he's being paid to do...

In other news, one pundit is still furious with Spurs players for what they've done to Pochettino...
