According to The Independent, Liverpool "are big admirers" of Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min.

The 27-year-old arrived at Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015 and has scored 80 times and registered 45 assists in 128 outings for the English club.

This term, meanwhile, the South Korea captain has found the back of the net on 13 occasions in 30 appearances, in addition to providing nine assists.

The Independent claim that Liverpool are aware that they would almost certainly not be able to sign the 6 ft ace from Tottenham, but the European Cup holders "are big admirers" of the attacker.

As expected, a number of Spurs fans have simply told the Reds to forget about the possibility of bringing the South Korean to Anfield.
