Tottenham Hotspur hosted their first Premier League game at the new stadium on Wednesday, as they beat Crystal Palace 2-0.
The curtain-raiser featured a lavish opening ceremony prior to the match, which Spurs won courtesy of goals from Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen.
The result leaves Spurs third, one point ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea and three ahead of Manchester United. The Gunners have a game in hand, however.
Despite the victory and there being much positivity towards the stadium itself, a number of supporters have expressed their dismay at certain parts of the stadium’s infrastructure – transport links being the recurring theme.
It is perhaps to be expected, with the opening of a new 62,000 seater stadium in an area that is used to hosting just 36,000 fans.
But that did not stop a number of supporters from venting on Twitter after the encounter. Take a look at the best of the reaction on Twitter below!
Thoughts the morning after. Best stadium we have ever been in but they have to address lack of transport infrastructure. A rethink of the CPZ imperative. We saw hundreds of parking spaces that could be used and Haringey charge for

Well What A stadium we have as a Spurs fan now…Few issues like running out of beer and the transport cant handle the increase in fans but over all this feels like home now!

It was atrocious

A few issues at the new White Hart Lane – very difficult to move around concourse, get a beer or food and the transport home (rail) chaos – £1billion stadium with £1 transport infrastructure. Otherwise a very emotional return home. I ❤️ WHL

Fantastic stadium. Shame it has become even more inaccessible with non existent parking and abysmal transport links.

Shocking. Wembley Park-like queues to get to seven sisters.

Why have they ruined Northumberland Park. made it now only one entrance, no one stopping people trying to go over the usual route only to have to come back. Trains leaving empty whilst we are walking through the crazy maze they have created.
