Spurs on verge of completing £3m transfer deal for in-demand maestro

According to reports from Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of wrapping up a deal for Dynamo Zagreb youngster Ante Coric.

The attacking midfielder is just 19 years of age but has already made 67 league appearances for the Croatian outfit, scoring ten times, and won the Croatian Hope of the Year award for 2015.

Indeed, the Croatian U21 is highly-rated, with Sport Witness reporting on interest from no less than nine of the continent’s top clubs during recent transfer windows.

But it appears the prodigious maestro is finally about to make his long-awaited move to mainstream European football, with Tutto Mercato Web claiming Spurs are on the verge of signing him in a £3million deal.

The Lilywhites are keen to add to their squad depth as they prepare for their first Champions League campaign under Mauricio Pochettino and Coric fits their usual profile of young, energetic signings with enormous potential.
