Spurs ready to raid Bundesliga side again following midfield sales

Tottenham are readying a move for 1.FC Koln’s Kevin Vogt after raiding the German club for Kevin Wimmer earlier this summer, according to reports from Metro.

The Lilywhites have endured a quiet summer on the transfer front so far, with the majority of their business having centred around players leaving White Hart Lane.

Among the names to have exited are Benjamin Stambouli, Paulinho and Etienne Capoue, and with the trio all central midfielders, Mauricio Pochettino is now light on numbers in his engine room.

As a result, reports from Geissblog.Koeln, via Metro, claim that he’s looking at Vogt to bolster his ranks ahead of a long and 2015/16.

The 6ft. 5” German would certainly add physical presence to the Spurs first-team and impressed last season in the Bundesliga.

Vogt, 23, played alongside Spurs newbie Wimmer for Koln, which could ease a potential move to North London.
