David Moyes is ready to rekindle Sunderland’s interest in Tottenham Hotspur defender DeAndre Yedlin, according to ESPN.
The American international spent last season on loan with the Black Cats, becoming one of their most important players in the late turn around masterminded by Sam Allardyce.
He made 21 appearances on Wearside, establishing himself as a solid Premier League level defender.
Despite Allardyce’s departure from the Stadium of Light over the summer, new man Moyes is understood to be keen on the 23-year old.
With competition for places being so high at White Hart Lane, it is claimed the former Seattle Sounders is keen on the notion of leaving North London once more.
Former Manchester United and Everton boss Moyes has already added the likes of Adnan Januzaj, Paddy McNair, Donald Love and Papy Djilobodji to his ranks in the North East this summer.
Whether or not the move could be another loan one, or a more permanent affair, remains to be seen, though Yedlin is reportedly open to the idea.
