Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move to sign Marseille star Michy Batshuayi after another scouting mission, Mercato 365 reports.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a switch to the Premier League in recent months, with West Ham United also keen on his services.
Club scouts were present when he featured for his side in the Coupe de France final, with Marseille losing out to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain 4-2.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to find another striker to ease some of the pressure on star man Harry Kane ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Aside from Batshuayi, Pochettino is also being linked with a move for West Brom’s Saido Berahino, who came close to moving to White Hart Lane last year..
He even praised the Belgium international previously (via RMC), hinting at a possible move for his services while highlighting his talent.
The forward featured 50 times in all competitions for his side this past term, scoring 23 goals while managing to provide another 10 assists.
