Spurs set to cash-in on midfield playmaker amid interest from PL rivals

According to reports from Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard during the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old remains highly-rated from loan spells in the Football League with Swindon Town and Brentford – claiming the Players’ Player of the Year award and a slot in the Championship Team of the Year with the latter club during the 2014/15 campaign.

He was the promised the chance to prove himself with the Lilywhites’ first team squad last season but an ankle injury limited him to just one Premier League appearance in August before moving to West Bromwich Albion on loan in January.

And it appears Spurs have ran out of patience with the former England U21, with Sky Sports claiming the north London club are ready to sell this summer if a suitor meets their £8million valuation. It’s believed two Premier League clubs are interested in signing Pritchard, although they remain unnamed.
