Spurs set to part ways with long-serving England winger

Out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon has emerged as a transfer target for Italian side Inter Milan.

The 27 year-old has found first-team opportunities few and far between under new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino this season, and may look to move away from White Hart Lane to revive his career and improve his chances of getting an England call-up.

Lennon is the club’s longest-serving player having joined Spurs from Leeds United in 2005. While Roberto Mancini’s Inter are favourites to land the player, he is also in high demand in the Premier League, with Hull City and QPR both reportedly interested.

Spurs are looking for at least £7million for Lennon but Inter will try to tempt the North London side by offering midfielder Fredy Guarin, 28, in part exchange.
