Christian Eriksen is ready to stay at Spurs for at least one more season after telling French champions Paris Saint-Germain that he has no intention of signing for them this summer, according to reports from The Mirror.
The Denmark international has been a big hit since his 2013 switch to White Hart Lane, and has been, arguably, the only real success story of Tottenham’s post-Gareth Bale £110m spend.
His form in north London is believed to have alerted PSG, with the mega rich Parisians eager to lure him to France.
However, Eriksen is loving life with Spurs, and has told his agent to knock back any advances from the Parc des Princes.
The 23-year-old has flourished under new boss Mauricio Pochettino, playing a key role in the Argentine’s 4-2-3-1 set-up.
He’s netted 21 goals in 76 games for the Lilywhites in just over 18 months.
