Time will only tell how important today’s point at Bournemouth will be for Tottenham in their title chase.
The White Hart Lane side played out a 0-0 draw with the Cherries in a game that, in all honesty, could have gone either way.
In the first half Bournemouth were the better side as they beat Spurs for energy and desire with the away team looking like they were still feeling it physically from their Champions League tie in the week.
In the second-half, though, Spurs were better and began to impose themselves on the game with one midfielder of theirs leading the way.
Mousa Dembele’s importance to Spurs has been well-documented in recent times and it looks as though he was once again key as the London club grew into the game.
The Belgian midfielder has the ability to run the show from midfield and whilst it wasn’t his side’s best performance he still had a decent game as his passing stats from today’s fixture highlight.
Mousa Dembele completed 63 passes (90% accuracy) vs. Bournemouth; more than any other player.

Dembele came out of the game with 90% passing accuracy down at the Vitality Stadium, which was influential for his team as the Lilywhites kept Bournemouth at bay before getting into the game themselves.
