Tottenham are preparing a double swoop on Champions League runners up Juventus for duo Fernando Llorente and Angelo Ogbonna, Metro has reported.
After disappointing in the later months on the season Tottenham could only finish in fifth, so Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bolster his squad.
He sees Lloente as an ideal complement to Kane, whilst Ogbonna may be available at a knock down price.
Tottenham became almost solely reliant on Harry Kane for goals last term so a striker is a must for Spurs and Llorente fits the bill perfectly. The striker signed from Athletic Bilbao is deemed surplus to requirements at Juventus and Tottenham are keen to bring him in.
As well as a forward, Pochettino is also concerned with his defensive options and so Ogbonna is also in his sights.
The 27 year old Italian has somewhat stalled since his move to the Old Lady and Pochettino and Spurs are ready to re-ignite the Italian centre back’s career.
