Spurs to launch bargain move for striker this summer

Spurs will look to revive their failed winter move for Fulham’s Moussa Dembele this summer, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The 19-year-old striker will be a free agent in just a few months’ time and looks unlikely to extend his stay at Craven Cottage.

Spurs were keen on the teenager during the last window, but a deal couldn’t be reached with their London rivals, yet that has not extinguished the Lilywhites interest, and reports claim that Dembele remains a target for this summer.

The youngster will command a compensation fee due to his age, but this sum is likely to be a low one.

European sides such as Monaco have also registered an interest in Dembele, who has netted 12 goals in 33 outings this term for the Championship side.

The Frenchman is likely to play a back-up role to Harry Kane if he makes the move to White Hart Lane.
