Tottenham Hotspur have rejected a £10m bid from Inter Milan for Christian Eriksen, per The London Evening Standard.
What’s the word?
The Denmark international has a contract that expires at the end of the season but Inter are hopeful of signing the playmaker this month.
The Italian giants have already made an opening bid of £10m for the 27-year-old, per the report, though Spurs knocked it back.

Chairman Daniel Levy is said to want £17m instead, though Sky Italia, the Standard reports, states that Inter have returned with an offer of £12.8m.
Eriksen has already agreed to a four-and-a-half-year deal with the San Siro club.
No time to be haggling
This is not the right strategy for Spurs.
Eriksen is clearly on his way out – his substitution against Liverpool led to boos around the stadium and he waved to fans as he departed the pitch – and this is the club’s last chance to actually receive any sort of fee.
They do not have the ability to negotiate here.
For the sake of £7m, or potentially £2.8m, Spurs should be sending Eriksen on his way.
He is almost certain to leave this month; it is better to get it over with quickly.
Meanwhile, Spurs fans have debated a move for a megastar.
