Harry Redknapp has hinted that he may look for midfield reinforcements in January, after stating it is an area that he is a little short.
In the past 24 hrs Tottenham have been linked with the Brazilian Sandro and Michael Johnson, as the North Londoners look to a bolster a central midfield which only has Jermaine Jenas, Tom Huddlestone and Wilson Palacios available at present.
Redknapp is keen to bolster his options, especially as he may allow Jamie O'Hara to remain on loan at Portsmouth for the rest of the season.
"Central midfield is the one area we don't have a lot of players. We've only got Palacios, Huddlestone and Jenas and I don't have many options there."
When pressed on the possibility of recalling O'Hara, Redknapp added:
"If Portsmouth want to keep him and we've got enough players, I'll have a chat with Paul Hart and see if I can help him out." (Sun)
