Lisandro Lopez

Lisandro Lopez was a Tottenham target in January, with the London club offering a six month loan deal, which was eventually turned down by Lyon.

The Argentine forward has scored goals wherever he’s played, and currently has eight goals in nineteen appearances for the french club this season.

At aged 29, he wouldn’t be a long-term signing, but Lopez would certainly add some depth to the Spurs forward line, and his track record suggests that he would score goals when given time to play.

Lopez has a knack of being rather vacant however, but the french league has become an excellent source of talent for the Premiership over the last few years and Lopez could be another example of an excellent Ligue 1 import that’s perhaps a more astute piece of business than some more expensive alternatives.
