Another home game, another win. That's four in a row at White Hart Lane in the Premier League and with it Spurs have moved to within one point of Arsenal.

A Dele Alli equaliser and a Danny Rose winner produced a comeback victory in a match they dominated, despite conceding an early goal against a spirited Burnley side.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are now well placed to launch an assault on the Champions League qualification positions. Fans are eager to see if they can build on two wins in 5 days and go on an extended winning run.

There can be no complacency given that Man United are also breathing down their necks in good form of their own.

It's a vital period of the season and the busy festive schedule will go a long way to deciding which way Spurs' season will go.

Here are FIVE lessons we took from Sunday's comeback win...

Burnley will surprise a few big teams this season

Despite defeat, Burnley can take plenty of positives from their performance at White Hart Lane.

Indeed against all the top teams in England this year Burnley have tended to do well. A win against Liverpool and a draw at home to Man United have shown they have what it takes to compete well in the league.

With only very narrow margins going against them here, it shows to us that Sean Dyche's side can definitely surprise a few more of the big boys in the months to come.

Spurs' full-backs can be lethal in attack

Danny Rose and Kyle Walker put in exceptional performances on the flanks and were truly the key to victory.

Both had a hand in the goals, Walker setting up Dele Alli for the equaliser before Danny Rose fired home in the 71st minute to secure the three points.

Given license to roam forward from their defensive positions, they unleashed their full attacking capability and ran Burnley ragged at times. Both were key to the attacking efforts all evening that resulted in an incredible 30 shots at the Clarets' goal.

Dele Alli is the main man

Dele Alli is emerging to become the talismanic presence at Spurs that the club may not have had since Gareth Bale was in his pomp at White Hart Lane.

When things are going against them he's the one you'd fancy to pop up and create or score from nowhere. He obviously has a long way to go to match the ability and impact of Bale but he's getting the job done more often than not and at the age of just 20, has the potential to reach great heights.

The power of Pochettino

Pochettino changed the game massively when his side went 1-0 down in the first half. That was the moment he allowed his full-backs to bomb forward, usually preferring them to play a more reserved role to safeguard the Spurs defensive line.

He made a massive impact with his substitutions. It took Moussa Sissoko less than 10 minutes to set-up Danny Rose with the chance to score the winner.

A good example of the power a manager can have in-game on the outcome of proceedings.

Spurs have enough about them for Champions League qualification

There's no doubt that Spurs can gain Champions League qualification again this season. While the title may be beyond them again, they are now just one point behind fourth place and look in better form than some of the teams around them.

Now that European football is off the table for a couple of months, they have the opportunity to push on now and string together some victories and really put pressure on the likes of Arsenal.
