Things were looking pretty grim for Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace after 10min when Tottenham had 75% possession. However, the Eagles grew into the game and caused and in-form Tottenham side more trouble than many would have expected. Pardew will be delighted with the response he got both from the players and fans.

Tottenham signed Benjamin Stambouli late in the summer transfer window and the Frenchman clearly missed the cut-off for doing the pre-match ‘walk thing’. Rather than getting the midfielder to come in separately, Sky clearly opted for a cheeky photoshop instead. Caught red handed:
