Tottenham boss snubs suitors

Andre Villas-Boas, Tottenham Hotspur

Andre Villas-Boas will ignore interest from PSG at stay at White Hart Lane, according to The Mirror.

The Tottenham manager has been linked with a move to France, but he has decided to stay instead and build on the Spurs squad.

PSG are preparing to look for a new manager, as current boss Carlo Ancelotti is expected to take over at the Bernabeu where the former Chelsea manager is set to replace the new Blues boss, Jose Mourinho.

But AVB will reject any approach from PSG, as he looks to start his second season with Tottenham. The Portuguese manager finished 5th in his first season, after guiding Spurs to their highest points finish in the Premier League.

However, The 35-year-old wants his loyalty to be rewarded by Daniel Levy, as he looks to add Leandro Damiao, Paulinho and David Villa to his squad.

Damiao has been a long-term target for the club, and this year Spurs look like they may finally sign the young Brazilian. The club have also been linked with David Villa, as questions surround the futures of Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor at White Hart Lane.

AVB has also identified Paulinho to strengthen his midfield, and was impressed with the 24-year-old’s performance against England earlier this month, which saw the midfielder scoring the equalising goal in the 2-2 draw.

Do Spurs fans want AVB to stay? Are his transfer targets what the club need?
