Tottenham eye PSG star

Adrien Rabiot (PSG)Tottenham are planning a January move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports from The Express.

The 18-year-old is widely regarded as one of the top emerging talents in French football following a fine loan spell with Toulouse last season.

Despite impressing, the teenager faces a tough fight to become a regular at the Parc de Princes, due to the presence of a number of top-level senior players.

This has alerted Andre Villas-Boas, who is keen to build a squad for the future at White Hart Lane after losing Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

The Portuguese coach is said to be monitoring Rabiot closely ahead of a possible move this winter.

The youngster has already admitted that he could be forced to leave PSG in search of regular football if he struggles to become a first-team regular.

AVB is hopeful that he can convince Rabiot to make a move to the Premier League in a bid to develop his career.

Although he is yet to represent France at international level, the midfielder is expected to graduate from the nation’s youth teams to the senior squad in the future.
