Tottenham Hotspur's hopes of an extended run in the UEFA Champions League ended this week after they lost 2-1 at home to Juventus, dumped out of the competition 4-3 on aggregate.

In a strong position after the first leg, the match against the Italians looked to be going perfectly when Son Heung-min scored in the first half.

However, a second half double from Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Bybala ended fans' European dreams and left them dreaming of the upcoming transfer window.

As good as Spurs are, they're far from the finished outfit and supporters believe they can improve in a number of key positions if they're going to compete with the best teams around Europe.

One player they're keen on replacing is left-back Ben Davies, who struggled on Wednesday night, especially for the second Juventus goal, sitting far too deep and allowing Dybala to run in behind.

Fans are now hoping Mauricio Pochettino recognises his flaws and looks for an upgrade in the summer.
