Tottenham fans are praising the heavens after the latest transfer update, as Turkish reports claim Fenerbahce are swooping for Moussa Sissoko.
It’s not often that fans celebrate a player being sold, but that’s exactly what’s happening on Twitter right now, as Sissoko appears to be reaching the end of his time in North London.
According to reports in Turkey, Tottenham are happy to let the Frenchman leave and have even allowed him to enter negotiations over personal terms with Fenerbahce.
Sissoko joined the club in 2016 after some impressive performances at the European Championships, but has grabbed just one goal in 58 Premier League appearances.
The versatile 6 ft 2 ace obviously holds the trust of his manager, as Mauricio Pochettino has repeatedly played him across multiple positions, but fans are delighted to see the back of him.
If Spurs want to truly join the elite as they enter their new stadium, then average signings like Sissoko must become a rarity, and getting any money back for Sissoko would be an incredible piece of business.
