Tottenham Hotspur confirmed on Friday that midfielder Harry Winks is fit again and has returned to training following an ankle issue, but many Spurs fans aren’t happy about the update.

The 23-year-old has been a regular in the north London outfit’s starting XI this season, starting 11 of their Premier League fixtures and three in the Champions League.
However, the England international missed the win against Burnley and the defeat to Bayern Munich in the last week with an ankle issue he suffered in the loss against Manchester United last week.
The latest news from the club suggests that the midfielder will be fit for selection for the trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday however, although supporters have made it clear they aren’t pleased – as you can see below.
Two supporters asked for Tottenham to keep him solely in training and not involve him on a matchday, with one even suggesting they sell him to Colchester United – Spurs’ giant-killers in the League Cup earlier this season, of course.
Can stay in training and away from the starting XI

Others had suitably negative comments about the 23-year-old, who was a real favourite under Mauricio Pochettino earlier this term, with one saying “we play better without him in the middle of the park”.
Another went a step further and suggested that his potential inclusion at Molineux would lead to a Wolves victory – Winks really isn’t a popular man among these particular supporters, but it isn’t the first time he has come under criticism from the Spurs faithful online in recent months.

We play better without him in the middle of the park I think.

One fan reinforced the message to Jose Mourinho to keep him away from the starting XI, presumably favouring the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko in those two defensive midfield roles in the 4-2-3-1.
Please keep him away from first 11
