Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to some transfer news, as they have been made the clear favourites to sign West Ham contract rebel Declan Rice.
According to Last Word on Spurs, Ladbrokes have slashed odds on Tottenham signing Rice, moving the North Londoners ahead of Liverpool in the race for the 19 year-old’s signature.
Tottenham are reportedly now in pole position to sign the youngster, with odds as low as 2/1.
Rice’s West Ham contract runs out next summer, and the versatile fan favourite is yet to show any signs of penning a new deal.
His versatility would make him the perfect Pochettino project, as he has already shown he can play as a central defender or defensive midfielder for the Hammers.
Tottenham are of course on the hunt for some fresh blood in midfield, and signing Rice to a pre-contract agreement in January would be quite the bargain.
Fans don’t seem all that convinced though, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…

West Ham will have no say, if Rice wants to leave on a Bosman next summer, wherever he goes. It’d be good to get another one over on that poxy little club.
