Tottenham Hotspur's hopes of making the knockout round of the Champions League took a huge hit on Wednesday night, with PSV Eindhoven holding the Premier League club to a 2-2 draw in the Netherlands.

Tottenham really needed to overcome PSV when considering that they started Group B with back-to-back defeats to Inter Milan and Barcelona.

Mauricio Pochettino's side came from behind to lead 2-1 in Eindhoven, but Luuk de Jong scored a late leveller for the home side after Hugo Lloris had been sent off for a rash and indeed late challenge on Hirving Lozano.

Lloris did not really have much business coming that far out of his goal, and it would be fair to say that the Tottenham fans are unhappy with the Frenchman.

Spurs are now in a very difficult position in Group B, and the capital outfit's supporters have blamed Lloris for the dropped points on Wednesday night.
