Tottenham fans are praising the heavens that their club have decided to end their pursuit of Wilfried Zaha, after reports suggested Crystal Palace could demand £70million for the winger.
According to the Evening Standard, Crystal Palace have whacked a whopping £70m price tag on Zaha, and Spurs “look set to end their interest” in the 25 year-old.
Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to buff up his attacking ranks this summer as he looks to provide more support for Harry Kane, but will now look elsewhere.
Kane grabbed the best Premier League tally of his career last season with 30 goals, but the Englishman once again suffered from injuries towards the end of the season.
Pochettino is wisely looking to add more and more goals around his talisman, and Zaha would be an excellent addition, but certainly not for £70m.
The Palace trickster scored nine times this season and pitched in with three assists, but attention will now turn to Anthony Martial instead.
Spurs fans are in complete agreement with their club’s decision on this one, breathing a massive sigh of relief that they aren’t going to overspend on Zaha.

I for one am happy about this, not good enough imo. The money is irrelevant cos I ain’t paying it anyway, he just isn’t good enough and that’s that
