Mauricio Pochettino has spent the last two summer transfer windows looking for the ideal backup to Harry Kane but the solution might well lie within his own club, in the shape of Heung-min Son.

The South Korean international, valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt, has enjoyed an outstanding season and some of his best work has been done when filling in for Kane in the centre-forward position.

His Spurs performances have earned him the award of Best Footballer in Asia for the third time in a row as he gears up to help his country spring a few surprises in this summer's World Cup.

Some cynics might say that it is biggest piece of silverware Spurs will have to celebrate this season but the club's fans were keen to show their appreciation for a player who has come on leaps and bounds this term.
