Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed on their Twitter account that Lucas Moura, Victor Wanyama and Moussa Sissoko are all back in training.

Spurs have struggled with injuries thus far this season, with the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli out until March.

Both Sissoko and Moura could potentially feature against Chelsea this week as Spurs attempt to defend a 1-0 lead from the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final, according to the club's official website, although it seems Wanyama will have to wait until the weekend for his long-awaited return.

Kane scored a penalty at Wembley to give Mauricio Pochettino's side an advantage in the Carabao Cup semi-final, and they will be boosted by the potential returns of two key players.

Moura had enjoyed a prolific season prior to his injury, scoring six times in the Premier League, but a knee problem ruled him out of the defeat to Manchester United and the dramatic 2-1 win over Fulham.

Sissoko's injury also set alarm bells ringing in north London, with the Frenchman having become a key lieutenant of Pochettino this season.

Indeed, the former Newcastle man has made 24 appearances in all competitions, laying on one assist, according to Transfermarkt.

And his comeback will likely lighten the load on Harry Winks who, for a time, was Spurs' only fully fit senior central midfielder.
