Tottenham Hotspur will return to Premier League action at home to Fulham this weekend.

Spurs opened their 2018-19 campaign with a 2-1 success away to Newcastle United last time out, and will now be looking to move onto six points in the Premier League table.

The club's fans noticed on a Twitter post that Harry Winks was back in training, and it would be fair to say that the news has gone down very well indeed.

Winks made 33 appearances for Tottenham during a breakthrough 2016-17 season, and was a regular in the early months of last term.

The one-time England international did not play a Premier League game in the second half of the 2017-18 campaign, however, after picking up an ankle problem which required surgery.

Winks only had surgery at the end of May, but has now been pictured back in training, which is some recovery.

It is very difficult to imagine that the midfielder will be fit to face Fulham this weekend, but the Tottenham fans are very excited with his return.
