Christian Eriksen is yet to score a Premier League goal for Tottenham Hotspur this season, but the Denmark international played a key role in his team’s 3-1 win over Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday.
A stomach injury means that it has been a frustrating few months for Eriksen, but he was back to his best against Chelsea – registering two assists as Tottenham recorded a very impressive win against Maurizio Sarri’s side.
The 26-year-old’s long-term future at Tottenham is far from secure, however, with his current deal due to expire at the end of next season.
There is no getting away from the fact that Eriksen could leave and earn potentially double what he would receive at Tottenham on a weekly basis.
Playmaker FC’s Theo Ogden was at Wembley to witness Spurs’ dramatic second half comeback against PSV. Watch the drama unfold in the video below…
And the Tottenham fans are still concerned when it comes to the 6ft attacker’s future, with many taking to social media once again to urge Eriksen to pen fresh terms.

Kane is our talisman but this guy is our most important player. In his 5 full premier league seasons he is averaging more goals per season and assists per season than Gerard, Lampard and Scholes each did in their Premier League careers!

Give this lad a five/six year deal asap
