Moussa Sissoko has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur are still capable of claiming a top-four position in the Premier League this season despite their struggles.

Spurs have only won three of their 11 league matches this term and currently sit 14th in the table heading into the November international break.

As it stands, Mauricio Pochettino's side are 11 points off fourth-placed Manchester City.

However, Sissoko has claimed, in quotes covered by The Telegraph, that his team can still grab a Champions League spot come the end of the campaign.

It is not a surprise that the 30-year-old has taken this stance as he is hardly going to publicly admit that Tottenham are not in a top-four battle.

However, it would be fair to say that the Spurs supporters are not in agreement.

Indeed, many have taken to social media to react to Sissoko's claim, and the general feeling is that the capital outfit do not stand a chance of finishing in the Champions League spots.
