Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to express their annoyance at the club’s pursuit of Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen, who the Championship side have told Spurs will cost around £20m if they want him on their books.
The north London side have sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old recently, and they will have been delighted with what they’ve seen from the Englishman – Bowen has scored seven goals and recorded two assists in his last seven league games for Nigel Adkins’ side.
Bowen’s form has also caught the eye of Burnley, but it is Spurs who are leading the race to sign a young English prospect with huge re-sale value.
However, whilst that will appeal to Daniel Levy, it has angered fans who are desperate to see a marquee signing arrive at the club to help them seriously challenge for the title – they also don’t feel that they need a winger and that other areas should be prioritised.
Let’s take a look at how Tottenham fans reacted to the links…
[@SkySports] now understand Tottenham Hotspur may need to stump up at least £20m if they hope to land Hull City’s young winger Jarrod Bowen during the January transfer window.

Winger is the least of our priorities, RB + LB, CM, backup number 10 should all be ahead of a winger
