Tottenham Hotspur's Under-19 team booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League courtesy of  a penalty-shootout win over Monaco Under-19s on Wednesday.

Nabil Alioui sent Monaco ahead in the first period, but Tottenham levelled early in the second courtesy of a fine strike from Keanan Bennetts.

The 18-year-old, who mainly operates on the left side of the midfield, has scored three times in 17 Premier League 2 appearances for Tottenham this season.

It is understood that there are a lot of individuals inside the club that are very excited about the potential of the attacker, who is said to have already attracted the attention of first-team boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Bennetts' performance against Monaco certainly caught the attention of the Tottenham fans, meanwhile, with many taking to social media to hail his display.

Indeed, one supporter suggested that Bennetts could even become better than Gareth Bale.
