Loads of Tottenham fans have been giving their verdict on the performance at Newcastle, and once again Moussa Sissoko is taking loads of stick.
You’d be hard pushed to find a player that takes more flak from his own fans than Sissoko at Tottenham, and his performance on Saturday left a lot to be desired again.
Spurs travelled to Tyneside with several players rushing to action off the back of the World Cup, and it showed through the performance if truth be told.
While the three points is of course what really matters, fans are once again furious with how poor Sissoko was.

The Frenchman was deployed alongside Eric Dier in midfield, and despite loads of hard work didn’t really accomplish anything.
He seems to have a knack of working hard, staying busy and getting stuck in without ever really making an impact, and even when he did get a good shot off it was saved by Martin Dubravka.
You can find some of the best Twitter reactions to his performance down below, look away now Moussa…
I’d rather see my boy Dembele play with a broken leg than Sissoko.

He adds nothing to the team. I wish someone can tell me why Poch likes him?

does seem like paying money for a new midfielder so that sissoko isn’t a regular would have been a good idea tbh

Aurier is dreadful, Sissoko has an IQ of a donkey

I would’ve taken Sissoko off after the 1st minute, once he’d done his 1st decent moment! Been dreadful since & constantly either given it away or put another player under pressure with a poor pass. #COYS

Sissoko is still cringeworthy to watch in possession. He’s generally fine out of it – fairly disciplined, fairly sensible, but in it he’s a train wreck. His touch is erratic, his pass weight is inconsistent, he runs into legs over & over again. He’s just not a very good player.
