Tottenham Hotspur returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Watford in the Premier League on Monday night.

Dele Alli and Harry Kane scored the goals as the London club strengthened their grip on fourth position, and moved to within one point of third-placed Liverpool in the table.

It was not exactly the most impressive of performances from Tottenham, but they did manage to get the job done to move a step closer to securing Champions League football for next season.

The Tottenham fans were not particularly impressed with what they saw from a number of players though, and Eric Dier was one that was picked out on social media.

The England midfielder divides opinion with the Tottenham supporters, and he had a pretty poor game against Watford at Wembley on Monday night.

Dier, who is valued at £36m by transfermarkt.co.uk, was extremely sloppy in the middle of the park, and the club's fans took to Twitter both during and after the match to blast the 24-year-old.
