Tottenham fans hail Troy Parrott following international brace

Premiership Picks

At the weekend, a number of Tottenham Hotspur fans lavished praise on Troy Parrott after the forward scored on his debut for Republic of Ireland’s Under-21 side.

And now many more have taken to social media to lavish praise on the 17-year-old for his brilliant late goal against Sweden Under-21s on Tuesday.

After the match, Parrott took to social media to show his delight – retweeting a video of his strike in second-half stoppage time.

Unsurprisingly, a number of Tottenham supporters flooded the response section with messages of support for the young forward, who netted twice off the bench.

Parrott is yet to be involved for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season – but he was heavily used in the team’s preparations for the new campaign.
