According to Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur have recently met with Sampdoria to discuss a deal for defender Joachim Andersen.
Andersen joined Sampdoria from FC Twente in 2017 and has made 32 appearances for the Italian outfit in all competitions.
According to Calciomercato, Tottenham met with Sampdoria vice-president Antonio Romei on Wednesday to discuss a potential deal.
The 22-year-old, who could cost £22m, has also previously been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Juventus and Inter Milan.
Spurs are seemingly keen to tie up a deal ahead of this summer’s transfer window, however, when the interest is bound to intensify.
Andersen, who is a 16-time Denmark Under-21 international, has made 22 Serie A appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.
