Tottenham Hotspur failed to put pressure on their top four rivals in the English Premier League on Sunday, labouring to a 1-1 draw away to Southampton at St Mary's.

Falling behind through a Davinson Sanchez own goal, Spurs again had to rely on talisman Harry Kane to bail them out, who netted his equaliser just three minutes later.

With Liverpool playing on Monday evening, it was a chance for Mauricio Pochettino's side to move level on points with the Reds, who can now move five points clear if they beat Swansea.

Fans were left frustrated with the result and the performance, with particular criticism aimed at attacking midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Spurs' lack of creativity was a problem throughout the ninety minutes, managing just two shots on target, and Sissoko failed to do much in the final third.

Supporters are now calling on him to be dropped or even moved on this January.

They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his role at the club in the wake of the draw...
