According to reports by French media outlet LeSport10, Tottenham Hotspur have made a formal enquiry about signing out of favour Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura on loan before the transfer window slams shut on January 31, and Spurs fans have been quick to have their say on the rumour.

LeSport10 says that Manchester United are also keen to bring the 25-year-old to the Premier League on a temporary basis this month, but PSG would prefer a permanent deal for a player that has only played 79 minutes of football for them this season following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe during the summer.

The Brazil international has scored 46 goals and provided a further 50 assists in 229 appearances in total for the Ligue 1 giants, and would add some pace to the north London outfit’s frontline.

Tottenham supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the potential addition of the Brazilian, and they weren't too impressed.

While one said he is "genuinely not an upgrade on Nkoudou", another described him as "the Brazilian Theo Walcott".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
