According to reports in The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to launch a £35m bid for Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon this summer, and Spurs fans have been quick to have their say on the rumour.

The Telegraph says that the north London outfit are ready to step up their interest in the talented teenager, although the neighbours from the capital could demand around £50m for any club that wants to prise him away – especially if they win promotion to the Premier League.

The 17-year-old has been fantastic for the Cottagers this season and he netted his 13th goal in 34 Championship games this term in the 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, and he is now featuring regularly on the left wing having often played at left-back earlier on in his Fulham career.

Tottenham supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the story that they will move for the England U19 this summer, and while one simply said "pay whatever it takes", another said "get him now Levy".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
