Nostalgia plays a big part in the life of a football fan. Remembering and discussing the legendary players, incredible games and traditional stadiums can keep a group of supporters occupied for hours on end.
However, with the commercialization of the Premier League comes the modernisation of many football clubs, especially when it comes to new stadia.
The latest top flight club to take on the task of building a new stadium are Tottenham Hotspur, who are set to move into their 60,000+ seater arena from the start of next season.
According to the Evening Standard, if no stadium naming rights are agreed by the start of the 2018/19 season, Spurs’ new home will be called the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Considering the location of the new stadium is merely yards from where White Hart Lane once stood, many Spurs fans believe that even a temporary name change is uncalled for and took to Twitter to express their opinions on the matter…
Will always be WHL to the fans.

If there no money in it. Why not just call it as we will all know it. WHITEHART LANE.

That’s rubbish!! If it’s only temporary until naming rights are agreed can’t we stick with white hart lane
