Former Tottenham Hotspur target Ross Barkley shone for Chelsea in their 4-0 thrashing of Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday, and Spurs fans were quick to react to his performance on Twitter.
The North London outfit had long been linked with a move for the England international when he was at Everton, and while he was someone they were keen on they reportedly decided not to challenge their London rivals for his signature in January 2018 as they believed they could sign better in the summer.
That of course didn't happen as they brought no one in, and missing out on the £15m deal may be a big regret now considering he has become something of a regular under Maurizio Sarri and has three goals and three assists in his previous three Premier League outings.
Tottenham supporters, who have slated one of West Ham United's top stars after an incident on Saturday, took to social media to give their thoughts on the 24-year-old's most recent display, and while one said "Spurs should have signed him", another said "absolute shocker from Spurs there".
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction...
