On Wednesday night, Tottenham Hotspur posted quite a strange video on their Twitter page.

Well, it wasn't that strange, but it was still a little bit odd.

It was a video of Hugo Lloris making perhaps one of the most average saves of the 2018-19 Premier League season to date.

The footage was from Tottenham's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at the weekend, which the capital outfit won courtesy of a goal from Juan Foyth.

In the video, Palace substitute Alexander Sorloth is seen breaking into the box before smashing the ball straight at Lloris.

It would probably have been harder for Lloris not to make the save when considering the distance and his position, but Tottenham were still keen to pay tribute to the stop.

Lloris has had a difficult season at Tottenham, but has helped the team win four of their last five Premier League matches, conceding just once during that run.

The Tottenham fans were not too impressed with the video on the club's official Twitter page, however, suggesting that Lloris still has some making-up to do.

One supporter even said that Harry Kane should be the club captain rather than the Frenchman.
