Tottenham Hotspur have been allocated the away dressing room for the Champions League final, per the London Evening Standard, to the confusion of many fans.
Spurs face Liverpool at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in Madrid on June 1 as the two teams bid to become European champions.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men are officially listed as the home team but it is the Reds who will be stationed in the home dressing room and Jurgen Klopp and his coaching team will also be afforded the home dugout, usually used by Diego Simeone and his backroom staff.
The decision is due to the security procedures in place for the game, perhaps the biggest of the season in club football.
Both sets of supporters will, per the aforementioned report, approach the stadium from different directions, with Spurs fans entering from the north and Liverpool the south.
That has had a role in deciding which team will change where but it is not good enough for a number of Spurs fans, who cannot see the logic in allocating the ‘home’ team the away dressing room.
Take a look at the best of the reaction below!
Still can’t figure out the ‘safety’ decision to put Spurs in the Away dressing room for the final. Since when does being the same side as your fans mean absolutely anything? Literally the only reason I can think of is that UEFA want Liverpool in the home one

Absolute rubbish what security risk is there?

That makes no sense, at all!

So they knew the draw weeks ago and could have set up the routes accordingly, poor planning or conspiracy

There is literally zero explanation for this except that UEFA want to give Liverpool any advantage possible

I’m really not happy about this
