Christian Pulisic will reportedly miss Borussia Dortmund's Champions League last-16 second leg against Tottenham Hotspur.

Indeed, according to football.london via Kicker, a torn muscular fibre - suffered against Tottenham in the first leg last week - will see the American miss the return fixture at the start of next month.

The absence of Marco Reus at Wembley meant that Pulisic was handed a starting role, but the attacker struggled to make his mark in England.

Pulisic will be joining Chelsea in this summer's transfer window, having agreed a deal with the Premier League giants last month.

The Tottenham fans have been on social media reacting to the injury news, but many feel that the issue could actually help Dortmund.

Indeed, Pulisic's performance against Spurs did not leave a big impression and the London club's fans are, if anything, a touch disappointed that they will not be facing the 20-year-old next month.
