Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after their talisman, Harry Kane, put England into the semi-finals of the Nations League with a late winner against World Cup finalists Croatia.

Gareth Southgate's men struggled to find the back of the net despite creating a number of chances against the side who knocked them out of the World Cup at the semi-final stage. Things got worse when Andrej Kramaric put the visitors ahead, but an assist from Kane for Jesse Lingard levelled things up.

The Tottenham academy graduate scored not long after to give his side a late lead, a goal which ultimately turned out to be the winner - a score draw, let alone a loss, would've seen the Three Lions relegated from their group.

His instinctive toe-poked finish within the 18-yard box trickled inside the post, and now sees him reach 20 goals in just 35 caps for his country.

Instead, the 25-year-old's goal meant England leapfrogged Spain to top the group, and Spurs fans couldn't have been prouder of their number 10's heroics...
