According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur might have to pay as much as £20m if they wish to sign Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen this month.

Bowen, 22, joined Hull from Hereford in the summer of 2014.

The attacker scored 14 Championship goals for the Tigers last season, whilst he has already struck 11 times in the second tier during the 2018-19 campaign.

Tottenham have been scouting Bowen closely in recent matches, but according to Sky Sports, Hull have slapped a £20m value on the 5ft 9in Englishman.

Bowen is certainly a talent, and he has previous experience of playing in the Premier League having turned out on seven occasions during his current team's 2016-17 top-flight campaign.

The Tottenham fans have been on social media reacting to the transfer report, and it would be fair to say that a large number feel that the price is a touch steep.
