Tottenham Hotspur announced on Tuesday afternoon that Georges-Kevin N'Koudou had left the club to join Burnley on loan for the remainder of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 22-year-old, who is valued at £6.3m by transfermarkt.co.uk, joined Spurs from Marseille in the summer of 2016.

The attacker made 17 appearances in all competitions last season, but has featured on just six occasions during the 2017-18 campaign - scoring once for his capital club.

Burnley, who are enjoying an impressive campaign, have swooped to land the former France Under-21 international on loan, and he will spend the rest of this season with the Clarets as they chase a top-seven finish in the Premier League.

Tottenham announced the news on their social media accounts on Tuesday afternoon, and the club's supporters were on hand to provide their reaction.

Many believe that it is a positive move for the Frenchman, and hope that he will return to the club next season as a better footballer.
